I have two users and use the fast user switching
capability of WindowsXP Home Edition. If I dial up my
ISP using user A then switch to user B the internet stays
connected. However if I do the reverse and dial up using
user B then switch to user A it disconnects. This has
been happening since Day 1. User B is was the initial
user setup so the Administrator I would presume? Any
Ideas?

Log in as user B, then follow these steps:
1. Open the Network Connections folder.
2. Right click the dial-up connection.
3. Click Properties.
4. Click Options.
5. Put a check mark in the box "Prompt for name and password,
certificate, etc".
6. Click OK.
7. Double click the connection.
8. Put a check mark in the box "Save this user name and password for
the following users".
9. Click "Anyone who uses this computer".
10. Click Dial.
After that, the connection will stay open when switching to user A.
You can go back to step 5 and un-check the box if desired.
