network connections missing

All of my dial up network connections are missing. There
is no option to connect to from the start menu. No viruses
detected with up to date Norton & F-prot. Spybot removed
some entries, all clear now. Have ran SFC without success.
Ipconfig /all does not display any information. PC did
have welchia worm which has been removed and MS patch
applied. I can't access the network options via control
panel unless I end one or more of the svchost processes,
and no netwrok connections are visable when I do
eventually get there. If I add a dial up connection, it
doesn't display.

Any suggestion welcome.
