I have 2 winxp pro workstations and 1 Win2000 Server.
Both xp's were loaded w sp1a and all updates have been
done on ws and server. I have the My Documents location
on the xp's set to a shared dir on the server and both
are the same. When both users try to access that
directory, one of them hangs for about 60 seconds. And
after that I can go back and forth with the machines, but
not at the same time. From here I reloaded the
workstations and I put Windows 2003 Server SBS on the
server to try some diff stuff and it does the same
thing. Am I missing something? The KB mentions similar
issues with SMB but says it was fixed in the sp. Please
