when I added a new user to xp machine I can't get them
access to programs on that machine. i can access them but
new user can't see them on start and when we try to run
them by clicking exe in explorer it crashes. is there a
way to allow them access. or a wizard to copy my settings
to them

thanks

Hi Bruce,

It may be that the program needs to be installed under the new user =
profile in order to work. This is particularly true of older software, =
or that written for Win9x systems. If double-clicking the executable =
causes a crash, this is a pretty solid indication that this is the =
problem. Just reinstall while logged on as the new user to the same =
program folder. If it is a limited user account, right-click the setup =
file and use "run as" and enter an admin level username and password.
