I have a ton of floppies which are full and XP says so or
something like that when I want to overwrite them.

I haven't reformatted a floppy in so long (3 1/2" disc)
that I don't know how. It used to be easy to figure out!

Help! I need something and have no new discs. Thankk you!

Put the floppy in the drive, open "My Computer", then right click on the =
floppy drive icon (usually called the "A" Drive), and choose "format" in =
the drop down.

Is it saying "full" or "read only"? Is the slider on the floppy disk in the
Lock position? To write to the disk, move the slider before using it.
