I just did a clean install of windows xp and everything
seems to be working fine. I would now like to uninstall
Windows 98. I've uninstalled most of my old software,
but I just don't need 98 or the dual boot option anymore.

How do I go about doing this?

Thanks

Hi,

Boot the WinXP system, delete the Win98 system folders from Windows =
Explorer.

Then edit boot.ini to eliminate the reference line to it. To edit =
boot.ini, either locate it on the root of the boot partition (you must =
be able to view hidden and system files for this) or edit the startup =
settings on the advanced tab of system properties (hit the =
winkey+pause/break).
