I'm trying to connect 2 computers working both on XP Pro
but it just doesn't work. Maybe the problem is that one
of that computers has installed version of XP different
than English? I'm running the network connection wizard
on the computer which is supposed to share the internet
connection and than on the other. I was trying many times
to connect these comps. Sometimes on the client comp the
conn. wizard detects my internet connection but usualy it
doesn't. Sometimes it sais at the end that there was an
error occured during configuration but I can do it
manually. After the wizard finishes the job I'm trying to
view the network comps but than on the host comp I can
only see a window that's saying that I have no rights to
do so and I should contact the admin (I have an
administrator account). Another times I can see only the
computer that I'm sitting infront of but usually only
when the oter comp is switched off. Otherwise there is
that strange window. On the client computer I have also
an administrator account and the same user name and
password as on the host. The client in network
surraunding can see only itself as well. In connection
status window on the client computer everything looks
fine but on the host usually all the numbers are
unavaiable. I have no idea what can be the problem and
what to do to connect these computers

The next thing I would do would be to delete the network connections and
start again. Thre is great site www.woww.com try it. I am far from an
expert.
