HELP ME!!! Startup problems!!!

Hey. When I am trying to start up my laptop, everything
works fine if I have attached my CD-RW and 3,5 DISC unit
at their USB-ports. But if I disconnect them from their
ports, it will take me up to 90 seconds until everything
starts in Windows (I will see my desktop and everything,
but can't do anything about it)...

HELP...

have you tried creating a separate hardware profile that has these devices
disabled?
