I have a Windows XP Pro computer that Find Fast is
automatically running on. You will be working along and
then an icon appears and starts blinking on the taskbar.
This icon looks like binoculars with a lighting bolt above
them. Also if you look at the desktop there is a box
flashing too. The box looks as if it is scanning through
some files. Is there anyway to turn this off or is this a
possible virus?

Greetings --
Do you have an early version of Microsoft Office installed? Find
Fast was a "feature" of some versions of Office; it has nothing to do
with the operating system.
