Can someone please tell me how I can add shortcuts to the Quick Launch bar
that is to the right of the Start button in Windows XP.
With Windows 2000 I used to be able to just drag a shortcut and drop it on
the Quick Launch bar, but the same does not work with Windows XP.

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: QUICK LAUNCH , and hit enter.
Then click on the topic titled "Add a program to the Quick Launch bar".
