explorer I keep getting a home page that I don't want. I
change it and it keeps going back...and now everything
starts with ehttp versus http.

Ehttps as prefix.

This problem is due to spywares installed in your system. In particual a
spyware called searchbooks.

The prefixes are stored in the following location. Based on this the system
searches the pages.

When this is changed then the prefix also changes. To solve this problem,
download and run the fix from the URL given below:

@="http://"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\URL\Prefixes]
"ftp"="ftp://"
"gopher"="gopher://"
"home"="http://"
"mosaic"="http://"
"www"="http://"
