XP Home's recovery disk is its installation disk, but the Recovery Console
isn't exactly user friendly in case there's a problem. You might be wise to
install a program like GoBack Deluxe which can troubleshoot bootup problems
& revert to a previous state more comprehensively than Windows' System
Restore. Also, backup often.

Image the drive with Norton's Ghost or Drive Image as this is the best way
to backup or have a recovery disc.
