Hello.. was wondering what .Net framework is and does??
How do i turn on the firewall?(folowed instructions...
still wont tlet me change or access the preferences)Why
does my Aol say it is dissconnected in the properties but
im online?? and finally...Why does Microsoft make it
tricky to setup up your PC by itself or with other
programs? If Im using it at home , by myself why do i
need admin. for??I thought these newer OS's are suppose
to be more user friendly?? seems like it is getting more
difficult to me !!

Here's a .NET FAQ>

XP's built in firewall is not compatible with AOL.
Get a few books, search online, do some studying. XP is not that difficult
to use and set up but with literally thousands of possible settings,
features and functions something of a learning curve is to be expected.
Here are a couple of sites that you might find useful.
