XP and Netware Single logon

With a XP Pro Laptop using Netware 4.9 Client and 4 users
I am having trouble using a true single user logon. When I
switch to User: Mary and enter the Netware Client (1st
logon screen) credentials=maryst and password=xxxx the XP
credentials then come up asking for username and password
for XP logon---XP Resource is very vague other than the XP
with Netware Client supports single user logon--any
assistance in reference material would be appreciated.
