Hi,

I have Windows XP Pro w/SP1A. When I am logged on as an
Administrator it shows that the operating system as being
activated. If I log on as a local user ( w/no rights) and
check the status it shows it as having 30 days left. If I
try and activated it as a user it says that I must be an
Administrator to do this. If I sign back on as
Administrator it try and do it (using the following
command... oobe/msoobe /a it says that it is already
activated. ??? What is up with this?
I am doing this on a Dell Dimension 4550 system that came
pre-installed with Windows XP SP1 and was upgraded to SP1A.

Thanks,

Tony P.S.. The license on the PC is just a Retail Media
license key.
