I need to print an attachment I recieved but I can't even
read it. I un-blocked it in file-options-secruity but I
still can't read it let alone print it. I've looked
everywhere in HELP They have everything on attachments in
O.E. but how to view (read) them and print them. (I know
how to print it once I get it on the sceen. Ha-ha!) Do I
save it in a file 1st ??? Then what? Don't laugh, you
were me at one time yourself. I don't want to do anything
to it till I can read it. I might not want to print it.
I,m beginning to think I'm brain dead. I know it's
something simple. I ran out of buttons to push so here I
am.

To print any attachment you need a program which can view it in its
native format. If someone sends you an Excel spreadsheet, you need
the Excel program or viewer to print it or open it. Some other
spreadsheet programs may be able to open it also. The bottom line
is if you can't open it, you can print it . If you do not want to
have every possible program on your computer to prepare for the
incoming attachments, you have several choices. Tell your
correspondents what file format to send to you or purchase a program
such as QuickView Plus which can open many file formats without
using the creating program.
