I recently tried to network to computers together and in
the process managed to change the way XP starts up. Insted
of getting the screen with icons for each user to chose
from, it know ask you to enter a user name and password in
a dialog. How can I restore this back to the default.

Andy:
Try this...Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the Way Users Log On or
Off. Check "Use the Welcome Screen". Click Apply Options.

Click Start, Run and enter CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2 Uncheck the box Users
must enter a username and password....... Click Apply and provide the
requested information.
