I am trying to use the remote shutdown feature on my home
network. One computer is running XP Pro and the other is
running XP home. They are connected with a Linksys Router
(BEFSR41). The best I get is two different error messages
the first is "network path not found." The other after
tweaking the command is "Access is Denied." The command
for the later is: shutdown -m \\router IP\comp Name -s -
f -t 1 -c "Storm alert"

Thanks
Mike

The -u and -p commands don't seem to work with the version of psshutdown
that I have. Is this an older version or do I need another program to work
in conjunction with it?
