I'm new to Windows XP Professional (my son installed it),
but am familiar to Windows 2002. Where can I find Excel
and Powerpoint? I discovered that Word is called winword
but can't find anything else.

Excel and PowerPoint are separate applications that you have to buy
separately and install. Neither of them come with Windows XP Pro.
(Windows XP is sometimes referred as Windows Version 2002)

Hi,
WindowsXP is Windows2002, they are the same thing. Neither include the =
MSOffice applications like Word, Excel, and Outlook. Those can be =
purchase separately or as part of the MSOfficeXP suite of applications.
Many system builders often bundle these applications with their Windows =
installation, this often leads to the misconception that those =
applications are part of Windows.
