How can I remove a listing for Stopzilla! in add or
remove programs in control panel when the program was
removed from computer over a month ago? I am not getting
the option "change/remove".
TIA

Did you uninstall Stopzilla using the "Add/Remove" dialog? Try re-
installing and then uninstalling via "Add/Remove". If that doesn't work,
get Tweakui.

While logged on with an account belonging to the administrator group, you
can remove the listing by editing the registry.
Start> Run> Regedit
Navigate in the left pane to:
HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr ent Version\Uninstall.
Locate the line for Stopzilla in the right hand window.
Click on it so that it is highlighted and press Delete.
Answer yes to the "are you sure?" prompt.
NOTE: You can export this key to a REG before deleting it if you think
there's a chance you'll want that info back in the registry later. Or you
can create a system restore point before editing to preserve a copy of the
registry prior to your editing.
