outlook express and the internet

when ever i get a link to click on in my email when i
click on it the web browser comes up and stays white. it
doesnt put the address that i want in the address bar. if
i go to help then click online support the screen remains
white and doesnt go to the webpage that i want. My
internet works fine and if i copy and paist the link to
the address bar it will go to it then. its just not
putting the link up there automatically. how do i fix
that??? thanks
