Please help - cannot read file

I keep getting an error message stating that a file
cannot be erad, when I attempt to open a saved file on
floppy disk A:drive. Please help me 1. find out why this
is happening, and 2. how to fix it. Thank you in
advance.

Copy the file to your hard drive. Then open it. Does that work?
