installing sp1, losing java vm ??

I have windows xp on my machine.

I ordered the "sp1a" diskette to update. Recently I have downloaded and
installed java virtual machine. Is it true, that I will have to reinstall
Java virtual machine, if I install sp1a.???
I read this in this newsgroup . Thanks for your reply . Phil

Hi

When I tested it, SP1a did not remove a existing Java VM installation (I tested
both Express and Network installs)...
