I would appreciate a reply from anyone who can explain how
to ccp. I have a Dell computer that I purchased only two
weeks ago.It is Windows XP.

There are shortcuts for these functions which work in most Windows
programs. Select the text first, then use the shortcut keys below.

Control-C copies the selected text to the Clipboard.
Control-X deletes the selected text and copies it to the Clipboard.
Control-V pastes the Clipboard contents at the cursor position.
Control-A selects all but does not copy.

The Edit menu shows the shortcuts in Windows programs. If you are
in a Command Prompt window, you have to use the Edit menu which you
obtain by left-clicking on the symbol on the upper left corner of
the window or right-clicking anywhere in the window except the
scrollbar. The shortcut keys do not work in the Command Prompt
window.

These work the same way regardless of your brand of computer.
