Cut, copy & paste

[Andromeda]

Left click at the beginning of the text - keep your
finger down and 'wipe' across and down to the end -lift
finger and choose from the Menu

In wherever you want to Paste - put Cursor in position -
Right Click and choose paste from the MenuIf you want the
whole of a piece of text then Edit (on the Menu Bar)-
Select All - Edit again - Copy

Then paste wherever as above
