if i upgrade from win 98 to win xp, do i need to reformat?
if i don't, will i lose all my files?? thanx

Mark;
You can upgrade and all your data should be intact.
However it is always a good idea to back-up important data just in
case.

Be sure to check this site to be sure the computer is ready for
Windows XP:
