automatic network logon?

I'm trying to setup XP to automatically log onto my home
network without having to type in a user name and user
password. The socond computer I'm trying to network with
is Windows 2000 pro, and I need to tweak either computer
so that my wife can just turn on the computer without
having to log onto the network without having to call up
an explorer window and go through the logon procedure.

did you try to run Tweak UI, available on the microsfot web site, on both
computers and set the autologon option on?
