Getting this error:
Remote Desktop Disconnected
The client could not establish a connection to the remote
computer.

The most likely causes for this error are:
1) Remote connections might not be enabled at the remote
computer.
2) The maximum number of connections was exceeded at the
remote computer.
3) A network error occurred while establishing the
connection error:
Is NOT, firewall or router..husband's pc connects fine
from network to my term server at work. I have XP home
ed. sp1. This was working a month ago..just stopped after
all these microsoft updates..

Tried to reinstall the remote desktop client, it won't
install because it sees the built in version.

HELP!!

Your terminal server at work requires terminal server client access licenses
(TS CALs) for XP Home Edition clients. There is a 90-grace period, that's
why you could access it using your home edition a month ago.

Go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/howtobuy/licensing/priclicfaq.mspx
for more info. Scroll down to the section on CALs.
