Program in Taskbar

I have a prgram in the taskbar I would like to remove,
what is the best way to do this? it is called 'Safely
Remove Hardware'

It is not a program.
You have a USB device connected to your computer that Windows determines
must be shutdown prior to disconnecting.
Left click on the icon, and Windows will identify the device(s) involved.
Shut down the device and disconnect it. The icon will go away.
