View Full Version : Xp Not prompting 4 password

I am trying to get my Xp pro to prompt for password when
windows starts, but it just logs onto a limited account.
I unchecked "fast swithcing" and "use the welcome screen"
but no luck. This started after I created the limited
account. I deleted the account and deleted everything
about the account from the registry, and now
administrator logs on automatically instead of prompting
for password. Please help.

Go to Start/Run, type: control userpasswords2 and press OK. Check the
settings in that dialog box.
