I need to set up a VPN connection with my network at
home, but it's grayed out

What do I need?

What's the problem?

I'm certain the additional components have been installed

Any help would be welcome

I have a home user who is having the above problem. Is not having a legal
copy of xp the only reason for that behavior? If so, how do I have him
confirm the status of his copy? I am assuming he either won't admit it or
doesn't know.

I don't know. I know of three others with the same issue, and they all have illegal copies. I just located another that has an illegal copy and he does not have that issue. Just trying to find a common link here.
