I had Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 Basic and later upgraded to
the Platinum Edition.
At first it had a few problems when i was opening up the
programme and goint to make a copy of a cd.
I managed to get to the screen which sais, "Initializing
Search Engine", (or something similar).
It then come back saying could not find engine.
I went to roxio site downloaded a couple of patches,
eventually I got it working, (it had something to do with
me being on XP.
NOW everytime I start up pc, on the bottom right hand of
desktop I get a message saying, OBSOLETE DRIVERS, i click
on this and it comes up with my system information.
It explains that the following drivers are obsolete:
DIRECT CD - UdfReadr.Sys & DIRECT CD - cdudf.sys.
Is this a problem? As Easy Cd Creator appers to be
working fine at this stage.
Do I need these drivers or has the ones what I downloaded
from the Roxio site replaced these and made all ok?
And finally how do I get rid of the message of obsolete
drivers when I start up PC as it is becoming a bit
annoying.
If there is anyone out there who can help me I would very
much appreciate it.
Kind Regards,
Chris.
