Need to disconnect mapped drives upon logging out of XP

I use network scripts to map my network drives. But when
I logout of XP, and login as a different user. XP
remembers the last mapping, and the new script wants to
assign a different share to the same drive letter. But
XP doesn't release the drive letter, thus I still retain
the old mapping.

In short, I want XP to "forget" the drive mappings upon
logging off of that user. And accept new map scripts
upon login by a different user.
