Windows XP Lots of ram and speed why sometimes slow to
boot and then after a series of restarts or complete turn
off and on it's O.K. Then the next day first turn on it's
slow again. ???? Thankks don

It may be that one of the installed components takes a long time to warm up.

Sorry That's not it. It occurs Sometimes fast first thing
and then slow later and then fast later I suspect it is
something wrong in the start up. I have checked services
and the startup for problems but i can't find it. The
question is why doesn't ti do it every time, maybe some
kind of a cach or etention problem but then whay does it
go bad after running fine and simply being restarted/ i
can tell it's going to be slow the minute i put in the
entry password the boot from that point on is very slow.
