OPENING AN ATTACHMENT

I cannot open an attachment on an email.I have Windows XP
2000. The attachment has dot. at the end of it. I am a
new to this and have tried opening it in microsoft woRks
spreadsheet, data base and word processor. can anyone help

Greetings --

A File with a DOT extension is normally a Microsoft Word document
template. You would need to have Microsoft Word installed to be able
to make a use of it.
