Ok, I'll try to keep this short and sweet. The office I
work in purchased 'new' computers for 5 people to use.
They are e-machines that shipped with XP home pre-
installed. Currently, the network is running on an NT
domain server. My problem is this. I, for the life of
me, cannot get XP home to ask for a logon to access the NT
domain. It boots straight to the desktop without any
username/password being asked, can see every computer on
the network BUT the domain. These machines HAVE to logon
to the domain, people use files that access a database
that is stored onto the domain. The current machines use
windows 98, and you'd usually go into the network
properties, double click on Client for Microsoft Networks
and it'd pop up that information, but XP home doesn't do
that. Anyone know where I can find that? Please, I need
help!
