I have been searching for days to a solution to this. I
have a laptop running XP pro and I am connected to SMC
7004AWBR wireless router. With my old laptop (also XP
pro), everything works fine...I can see the internet and
the local network and resources. However, with the new
laptop, I can't see the local network. I have sat both
laptops, side by side, and made sure all the settings
were the same for the network, including no firewall,
tcp/ip...everything. Any clues?
