First and foremost, I am quite comp. illiterate, so try
not to use any advanced comp. terms please, thank you.
Now my question is, I noticed recently that when I view
websites, most if not all the pictures and displays on
them cannot be seen. The text on the web pages show up,
but all the pictures are replaced with a white box with a
red x in it. I know for a fact that the websites I look
at work properly, so I assumed that I have a problem with
my browser. Please let me know what to do to correct this
problem. Thank you.

First, delete your temporary internet files. To do this: when in internet
explorer click on tools at the top of the screen, select options, then click
delete button for the temporary files.
Next, while still in internet options, click the advanced tab, and, scroll
down the list till you see 'multimedia'. Make sure there is a check mark in
'show pictures'.

I deleted my files in the temp. folder, and when I looked
at my mutimedia on advanced, the "show pictures" tab was
already checked. Does anyone have any other suggestions
for my situation?
