office 2000

I have just got this windowsxp installed and I try to
load office 2000 to my pentinum 2 computer, but it
doesn't work. I wonder if windowsxp is only compatible
with officexp? I don't have officexp, should I revert to
windows98 for office 2000. Please help. Thanks.

Why does it not work? Did you get any error messages? Are you trying to
install Office 2000 Upgrade without a qualifying product?

Office 2000 is compatible with Windows XP Home or Professional. BTW: always
install the SR and SP from:

http://office.microsoft.com/
