Greetings,
I have been running XP Pro (master) and Win98SE
(slave) on two daisy-chained 60GB Maxtor hard drives for
the
last 1 1/2 yrs. XP was installed on the master
as an upgrade to Win98SE, then added the slave with the
same registered Win98SE OS installed on it. I have had no
major conflicts in that time.
Q1: If I were to install the same reg'd XP OS on the
slave drive (over the top os win98SE), can I expect
problems?
Q2: If I leave my system as is, how do I set bootup
to display choice of OS I
want to use?
Thanks for all your help

Hi,

It will install, and create the same dual boot as you currently have. =
There has been some debate about the legality of installing the same =
disk on the same machine twice, but I don't have any issues with it, and =
it will activate as it is the same hardware.
