Downloaded software

I download software to my computer but it is only
available through my user account. The other accounts do
not have it on their desk top. Is there a way to make it
available to all users?

yes. Well, maybe. If you create a shortcut to the application and then copy
the shortcut to ..\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop the shortcut
will show up on all desktops. There may be other tweaks required to get the
application to find what it needs to run properly.

I have the same issue. Would not run Half life games. Can't set up
different account unless I can make games available to other users as well.

Seems strange.
