windows xp logging on to network/domain

Hi!
I noticed that my Windows XP PC consumes about 5-15
minutes just to log-on the network/domain. Is there a
problem with my PC or this is just how windows xp behaves?

Hi,

At what point does the login seem to be slow? Check the XP client's DNS
settings to make sure it is pointing to the DNS server with the domain
records and not an ISP DNS server.
