Autodisconnect still does not work

My problem seems fairly standard, however the solutions
given don't seem to help.

Problem: If I leave a mapped drive idle for X minutes,
then proceed to click on it in Explorer, it just sits
there, then finally says it is unavailable, etc.

I tried the net config server /autodisconnect:-1 to no
avail.

Note, this only occurs when I connect to a domain (2000
or 2003) during login vs. connecting to the local
machine, then using a mapped drive.

What more can I do?
