Machine 1 (Windows XP Pro) can see and share files with=20
machine 2 and machine 3. I can ping both machines with=20
ip address and computer name.

Machine 2 (Windows XP Pro Corporate) & machine 3 (Windows=20
2000 Pro) can see machine 1 in network places, view=20
workgroup computers, but when I click on machine 1 I get=20
the error message "network path not found" machine 1 is=20
not accessable. You may not have permission. I can ping=20
machine 1 from machine 2 & 3 but cannot ping using=20
computername. It acts like a name resolution issue. I=20
have enabled Netbios over TCP/IP and have disabled the=20
firewall. All three machines are members of the same=20
workgroup and I am not using a Domain. I have added the=20
user account of machine 1 on machines 2 & 3 but still=20
cannot access machine 1. When I go to the Event Viewer=20
after booting machine 1 I have the following error:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: NetBT

the Interface with IP address 192.168.2.100. The machine=20
with the IP address 192.168.2.103 did not allow the name=20
to be claimed by this machine.

All three machines are connected to an SMC 2804WBR=20
Barricade g24GHz 54 Mbps Wireless Cable/DSL Broadband=20
Router. Machine 1 is using a Cat 5 wired connection. =20
Machines 2 & 3 are using wireless connections.=20

I have read through many articles in this newsgroup and=20
tried everything mentioned with no success. Any help=20
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Recheck the advanced TCP/IP settings. Have you perhaps entered a
WINS server although you don't have one? Check also the DNS
settings. They should be set to automatic like the IP address.
The DHCP server in the router should be activated with a proper
address range like 192.168.2.1 to 192.168.2.99.
