Just upgraded to XP Professional

Upgraded from Windows Me to XP Professional. The
documents saved in Microsoft Word will not open in XP.
How do I access and/or save the documents? Thanks for
your help.

Did you do an actual upgrade or did you create a dual boot situation?

Reinstall MS Word again. You need to be logged on to an account with
Administrator privileges to do so.
