Erasing CD's

How do I ersae cd?

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: ERASE , and hit enter.
Then click on "Erase files from a CD".

If you erase them can you use them over again, or are they
usless?

One can only erase CD-RW CDs and then reuse them. CD-R CDs
cannot be erased and reused.
