Is the computer hooked up to a network using Novel? If yes, you're stuck
where you're at. Instead of using Switch Users, you would log off. Then let
the new user interact with the logon screen to get onto to their user
account.
If you're not connected a Novel enhanced network, open Network Connection.
Right click on your connections here (should probably do each of these, one
at a time) and choose Properties. On the Networking tab (or General tab
depending on the connection type), if you see the Client for Netware listed,
click on it and then click the Uninstall button. Restart the computer.
Use Control Panel to enable Fast User Switching. It should be available to
you as long as there isn't anything else installed that is incompatible with
it. PCAnywhere, for example.
