Have you guys ever though he could have a valid key & Microsoft turned
this key off by mistake. Think about how many microsoft product keys
were turned off.

Zero & Letter O look the same on some computer. You may not be typing
it correct.

Microsoft has some offices in different state. Call them, they should
be able to refer you to the correct place to call or return you copy
for a free replacement.

If you copies legal bought (The orginal xp & the upgrade) microsoft
should be able to fix this for you at no charge.

Hi Greg,

Unlikely, as the the SP1 only checks for pirated keys that were commonly =
passed around. If the user had entered the key wrong originally (like in =
mistaking a 0 for an O, then the installation would not have been =
allowed).
