I've recently installed DSL service from Verizon,
including a Linksys Router/Wireless USB Network Adapter
for a second computer.
After some initial need for support, everything seems to
be working fine with one odd glitch:
On the computer using the Network Adapter, initial bootup
always results in no Internet connection; but an
immediate reboot always results in a proper Internet
access. This process is always the case: initial bootup,
no Internet access; reboot enables Internet access.
Verizon techs said its a Linksys problem. Linksys tech
worked with me but could not make Internet access on
first boot; eventually said must be a Windows problem.
I can live with this but would rather not. Can anyone
help to resolve this issue? Thanks in advance for helpful
replies.
