Hi All:
In the last few days, when I start up Outlook Express,
the program opens immediately without asking for my
password! I checked in the Identity properties and the
Require password box is checked, and I even tried
changing my password, but it still opens right up.
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.!
Note: I did have to edit the registry last weekend
because the Auto Play wasn't working when I inserted my
photo cards into my USB card reader, but I didn't touch
anything else! Honest!!!

Hi John,
When you close OE, are you using file/exit, or file/"exit and log off
identity"? You need to use the latter one.

Hi Rick:
OE express does not ask me for my password the FIRST time
I try to sign in after booting my machine up. When I
close off I always leave it open so I can get back in if
need be.
